The Spiral. Now Ciri knew why they called it that. It was a vortex, an utter whirlwind, air whipping and snapping in a great funnel. All around, the stars winked in the sky and the heavenly spheres rotated softly in the distance. Gazing across the fathomless darkness at them, Ciri had to wonder which planet was hers.
